Do you know Where and How To Post A Blog

This is an interesting topic, which seems to be creating a lot of buzz lately. Some of you may say How To Post A Blog is so easy - just get out there and do it. Well maybe for some but not necessarily for others who are new to all of this internet headache.

Here is the thing, blogging has been taking on a life of its own lately and is becoming more popular everyday - why does Tony Robbins,Derek Gehl, Gina Gaudio-Graves (founder of The IM University) blog, these are to name a very few.

It is becoming more popular and acceptable only if you really know the subject you are talking about, the point here is don't throw out junk and make statements you can't back up. There is enough junk in cyberspace now we don't need anymore.

Blogging can be very helpful to you and your business if done correctly and it can become a great community within your niche if you respect others.

Put a comment on someones blog post, especially if they are new and only as long as they can be identified and/or are putting up respectful and reasonable material. Don't support those who are spamming, promoting hate,or anything which is immoral.

comment of blog posts which rank PR5 and higher as this will help you gain respect in the search engines. There are a lot of tips which can be helpful so if you need more information on how to properly operate your online presence, click here for an opportunity to get in on the March 14th, 2009 launch of our IBP Strategy (Internet Business Plan Strategy) - 75% off on launch date if you are on the list. Patrick Swayze Still Fighting Pancreatic Cancer and Winning!

Here is an excerpt taken from AOL Television about Patrick Swayze and his fight against pancreatic cancer - we really hope he beats the hell out of this disease:

Patrick Swayze dubbed himself "a miracle man" for his valiant fight against pancreatic cancer.

The Sun has an article that shows Patrick Swayze smiling while watching a Los Angeles Lakers game with wife LISA NIEMI. He looks great and seems to be responding well to the treatments which he has been taking at Stanford (University Medical Center).

Keep up the good work and god bless Patrick - we are rooting for you! Go Patrick Go! Of course looking after yourself and your family is number one and we are sure looking forward to your movies in the future.

Why Wear a Bike Helmet?

Well this is certainly an interesting topic, mainly amongst the young people these days - "Why should I wear a helmet? It makes me look like a geek! My friends are always making fun of me - what gives?

Just recently my insurance company sent me a newsletter and in the newsletter there is an article referencing Wearing Bike Helmets. In our household this is a very interesting topic, as a few days back our young fellow (15) decided that he would go downtown and of course didn't wear his helmet. Well, a long story much shorter, he had an accident and seriously spranged his ankle. What is worst is he has no memory of certain details (important ones) of the accident. Apparently he hit his head but luckily there is no damage to his head that we are aware of.

After juniors mom was done telling him what she thought >>> well lets just say he won't be riding without a helmet again. :)

The thing is how many people do you see going everyday with no helmet. The police will stop the odd one but they can only do so much, so the rest is up to us. I have included a copy of the link so you can review the article - Use your head - wear a helmet! http://tinyurl.com/6f7h2n

Natural Remedies for Weight Loss Follow Up

We contacted the natural supplement provider and to date no answer. We sent another email requesting information before updating this blog and again no reply on our quest to find out about this Natural Supplement for Weight Loss.

So there you have it - HEALTH WARNING: Be Very Careful when experimenting with Advertisements for Weight Loss Supplements, don't get mislead. Losing your money is one thing but losing your health is usually irreversible.

Another note to keep in mind - not everyone can take natural supplements especially if they are on certain types of medication. I have a friend who takes Warfarin because she has a family history of blood clots. The natural supplements change the readings of her PT/INR blood levels. Always check with your pharmacist before taking any natural supplements to ensure that the supplements will not interfere or interact with other medications you are taking.

Natural Remedies For Weight Loss

Everyday we hear about new weight loss programs that hit the market - the hottest, the greatest - LIKE NO OTHER BEFORE! Sound familiar?

When it comes to supplements for these "life changing" products you really have to be careful - I am neither for nor against such gimmics. According to testimonials by well known actors and actress's they swear these are the best products ever - the funny part is these famous people make money from these advertisements so what is the real deal. We wouldn't think that a well known actress or actor would ever put their reputation on the line for a borderline product - Would they?

Now this is not meant to be a negative but we need to be realistic - before you put anything in your body, make darn sure you know the ingredients. Contact the company making these claims, find out the manufacturing process these supplements go through. What security is in place to ensure no contamination? How do we really know the ingredients of these supplements? Can they back up their claims aside from using famous people to help them?

Recently my wife showed me an article in a well known magazine and it showed this everyday mom of three who couldn't lose weight and she was introduced to a supplement to help her lose weight. This supplement was going to be the cure and I quote from the closing of the article: "the results are visible, measurable and noticeable! All this can be achieved: WITHOUT Willpower -- WITHOUT any strict diet -- WITHOUT strenuous exercise. Wow every man and womans dream!

Now we wanted to believe this to be true, so we sent an email to the company for some answers. We read over the article very carefully, and could not find anything backing up their claims - the company name that was posted on the advertisement could not be googled.

Here is a copy of our email edited, as we don't want to cause waves or upset anyone - this is just an example of what we need as consumers to be aware of - set your emotions aside and gather the real facts before ingesting any products that could potentially harm your health:

Recently my wife read an article about your product in _________ Magazine and while it is a great story I certainly have concerns about the product she would be putting into her body.

Upon researching your product I found an article that seems to put down your product -- here is the link...
http://consumerhealthdigest.com/

Would you be willing to comment on this article and can you give me some information to your main website for ______________- my wife is extremely interested in your product and that is why I am giving your company the option of discussing this further.

What guarantees are there that the ingredients are what you say they are? What is the manufacturing process of such pills? Where do the herbs come from? Are the oils extracted under strict conditions to avoid contamination? How long has this product been on the market?

I am trying not to buy into the negative spin the article above gives your product - advertisement in a magazine is meant to sell and I understand that process of the sales cycle. I need to feel comfortable that I have all the information necessary to make an informed decision.

Thank You for your time in advance and I look forward to your reply.

Regards,

Carl Tambeau

my email address was here

So now we wait and see what their reply is - I plan to share there reply on this blog but again editing details. Please don't misunderstand this post to be down playing these types of products but just last year one of my coworkers lost a relative and the link to her initial ill health was traced back to these types of natural diet supplements - we need to be aware of the risks and ask the right questions.

Kelly Ripa Tells OK! Magazine Running Is...

In the July issue of OK! Magazine Kelly Ripa was spotted at The Pierre Hotel, NYC and she tells OK! she keeps her killer bod by running. She says "It's as beneficial for the mind as it is for the body." To all those moms trying to lose weight, Kelly advised, "Breathe...and pace yourself on the guilt." - This quote was taken from page 84 - July Issue -OK! Magazine.

My daughter was looking through this magazine while visiting the doctors office and she enjoyed the magazine so much she decided to buy a copy - it was interesting she came across the above comment as it goes along with our theme.

It is so true men and women forget about the benefits of exercise on the mind -- it doesn't have to just be running, it is a fact that there alot of people who wouldn't be able to run BUT walking long distances should be considered in place of running. Now of course for those who haven't any type of regular exercise program scheduled into their lives. start out slowly, pace yourself, build up to the long walks. Walking is every bit of good for your physical health as it is for the mind. Make sure you consult with your doctor prior to starting any type of exercise program.
